Moneta: Budget Tracker
Effective date: March 4, 2026
Moneta: Budget Tracker ("Moneta," "the App," "we," "us," or "our") is developed by Nathaniel Brion Sison. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using Moneta you agree to the practices described below.
Moneta itself does not collect personal data beyond what is required for core app functionality and cloud sync. The App integrates third-party SDKs — Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Remote Config, and Google Data Transport — that may collect additional data as described below.
Moneta does not track you. None of the data collected by the App or its third-party SDKs is used to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. The App does not participate in advertising networks or data brokering of any kind.
The following data may be linked to your identity through your Google Sign-In account: name, email address, phone number, coarse location, user ID, device ID, other usage data, and other data types. This data is used solely for app functionality and analytics as described above.
Diagnostic data (crash data, other diagnostic data) is not linked to your identity.
Your data (budget plans, monthly trackers, entries, and settings) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. If you sign in with Google, your data is also synced to Google Cloud Firestore so it can be accessed across your devices. You may export a full backup of your data at any time from within the App.
Moneta relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Your local data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data manually. Cloud-synced data stored in Firestore is retained as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your cloud data, contact us at the email address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Moneta is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
